Gateway to Africa's best safaris
Picture yourself wading through the crystal clear waters of the large swimming pool, with a stunning African sunset in the back. Or on the outside deck with fresh coffee, while the morning sun warms your face and birds serenade you with song. Situated in Kasane, directly on the border of the Chobe National Park and within walking distance of the Chobe River front, is the Chobe Bush Lodge. A luxurious retreat in the middle of the bush, where you can not only see some of the most unspoilt natural splendour and wildlife of Africa, but also opt in for delicious à la carte meals, relaxing massages, cocktails ‘with a view’ or sipping wine while listening to hippos calling. The lodge offers the best of both worlds: activities on land and water. To access river views, simply cross the road to sister property Chobe Safari Lodge. Or just nestle yourself in one of the cosy nooks of the bush lodge to soak in infinite vistas of the National Park.
Chobe Bush Lodge has 42 rooms in three blocks that includes four family rooms (two bedrooms both with en-suite facilities). Because this lodge is fairly new, rooms boast a modern bush style, with contemporary furniture and design. Watch the antics of the baboons, warthogs and mongoose from your own room: the ground floor rooms include an intimate porch, while the top rooms have balconies with views over the National Park. Rooms are spacious with stylish open-plan bathrooms featuring a bath (oh-so-welcome after an intense safari) and separate shower. Air-conditioning and television are also standard. Lodge facilities include an à la carte restaurant and bar with views over the bushveld, a swimming pool and lounge deck, curio shop and viewing platforms overlooking the Park. There are Wi-Fi hotspots in the communal lodge areas - to share some enviable photos with the home front - as well as a health and beauty salon across the road at Chobe Safari Lodge. (Don’t skip a relaxing foot massage while you are there.)

Tripadvisor comments Chobe Bush Lodge
We had a great three days here, with staff all very focused on giving great customer service, and supporting with the kids too. Food was really excellent, including breakfast, as was the relaxing around the pool. Our room was huge, perfect for the four of us.
